St Andrews Old Course

The Old Course at St. Andrews, golf’s Mecca, is a golf course most people want to play once in a lifetime, and if you do not manage to get a start time, it is good to walk around the course on Sundays!

About St Andrews Old Course

It’s doubtful if there is anything we can say about the Old Course that hasn’t been said before! Home of Golf, where it all started in 1574 and the home of the Royal & Ancient is on most golfers’ bucket list. Tee times on the Old Course are hard to come by during the summer season (May to September) but most people do manage to get one, but the keyword is flexibility.

Somewhat uniquely the Old Course is closed on Sundays and the public is free to roam around as they please, don’t be surprised if you see kids playing with buckets and spades in Hell Bunker!
