Aberdeen is situated on Scotlands Northeast coast and is perhaps more known as a centre for the oil industry, amongst other things they have the world’s largest helipad. It is however getting more and more popular as a golfing destination, with courses such as Royal Aberdeen and Trump International pulling golfers from all over the world.

With lots of really nice hotels, restaurants and traditional Scottish pubs Aberdeen is a popular destination, either on its own or as part of a longer tour of Scotland. It also has a modern airport which you can reach from both London and Dublin.

Copthorne Hotel

Just outside central Aberdeen you’ll find the large, modern and stylish Aberdeen Altens Hotel. This hotel have large rooms with fabulous superking beds, flat screen TVs, bathrobes & slippers and unlimited WiFi.

There is also an indoor pool and saunas and a gym that guests can use free of charge. We especially recommend this hotel to those of our guests that are self-driving as it has a large, free car park and is easy to find.

It takes about 20 minutes to Murcar and Aberdeen and about half hour to Trump International.
