Ballybunion has two courses, the famous Old Course and the newer Cashen Course. Both courses look rather wild, especially the Old Course from the 6^th hole, which was originally the 1^st, and onwards as it snakes it way along the Atlantic coast.

This is a truly magnificent links course which will test even the best, and on the bucket list for many golfers, partly thanks to the continued praise by Tom Watson who loves this course so much he wrote the foreword in their planner.

The course went through a significant upgrade package at the end of 2015 which made sure that the Ballybunion Old Course will remain one of the Top 100 golf courses in the world for many years to come.
