The county of East Lothian is just south of Edinburgh, roughly about 40mins from the airport. There are tons of fantastic seaside courses here, the area is often referred to as the Scottish Golf Coast. Most famous if probably Muirfield and North Berwick Golf Clubs but there are ten or so courses within 20 minutes of each other.
