Montrose is the sixth oldest club in the world and to honour that they changed the name of the medal course to the 1562 course in 2017. Some of the holes here are still played as they were back then! The first hole is played out towards the sea, and then several holes are played along the sea, which are unfortunately slowly eroding away. The greenkeepers are trying their best to prevent further erosion, but it is likely that the current layout is doomed so play it while you can!
