Panmure is an excellent course that is used as a qualifier for The Open. Ben Hogan played here for the two weeks leading up to his win. Some feel that the first three holes are a bit dull but after that it opens up and becomes much more difficult and definitely windier!

Watch out for not only the rough, it is incredibly thick, however, Panmure’s greenkeeping team often wins awards, so it is nearly always immaculate.
