Lahinch

Lahinch is the finest links course Old Tom Morris ever built, and should be on your golf course bucket list!

About Lahinch

Lahinch is one of those courses all golfers should play once in their lifetime. Dating back from the 1890’s this Old Tom Morris is the finest links course he ever built!

The traditional out and back course has also been touched by both Dr Mackenzie and Martin Hawtree, each making this golf course even more spectacular.

Plenty of quirky holes, most famous is The Dell, a blind par 3 where the green sits between sand dunes and you have to aim for the white rock and cross your fingers! Our favourite is the par 4 14th, Twins, called so after the two giant sand dunes that guard the green, making it very difficult to hit it in 2, especially if the wind is coming sideways from the Atlantic!

Lahinch’s logo has a goat on it, and the locals claim that if the goats are at the club house, you’ll need your rain gear and an umbrella…
