Golf Trips to Ireland

Irish Golf Breaks

Golf has been played in Ireland nearly as long as in the UK as settlers from Scotland brought the sport with them, in fact the Golfing Union of Ireland is the oldest national golfing union in the world!

There are over 430 golf clubs in Ireland and several of them are frequently listed in the Top 100 golf courses in the world.

The Irish are well known for their hospitality and the golfing world is no different, upon entering the club house you are sure to be greeted by both locals and staff, with lots of them wanting to share their stories from the course, which club to play on which hole, and later, after your round, excited to hear what you thought of the course, ‘isn’t it the best you’ve ever played, say?’

We organise golf tours across England, with the most popular courses in the North West and South of the country. If you are interested in something that isn’t listed please contact us.

Although there are so many fantastic golf courses in Ireland we have for ease split in to two sections, the Greater Dublin area and the South & West of Ireland.

In the Greater Dublin area you will find golf clubs like Royal Dublin and Portmarnock but also the amazing links courses further north in Drogheda.

South & West Ireland covers a very large area, from Lahinch in the west to Old Head in the South.

The Dublin area is great for weekend trips but to truly discover the beauty of South & West Ireland we recommend you set aside a week. If you fancy some sightseeing whilst in Ireland we will happily suggest and arrange tours and visits. Why not set aside a day to discover the famous Guinness brewery?
