Dundee is Scotland’s fourth largest city and about half an hour north of St Andrews and half an hour south of Carnoustie. Dundee is an old sea port town that was hugely important during the industrial revolution but these days it has reinvented itself as a center for digital entertainment companies. 10 % of all the companies involved in the global gaming industry are based here.

The city was awarded 5^th place on Wall Street Journal’s Hot Destinations list 2018 and is generally considered to be of great cultural interest. Dundee is a great base for those of you that would like to visit both Carnoustie and St Andrews!

Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa

The magnificent Carnoustie Golf Hotel is right next to the golf course, most people recognise it instantly from the many TV shots of players walking up the 18^th hole during The Open.

The hotel has 86 rooms and 10 suites, many with fantastic views over the golf course and some with private balconies. The rooms are spacious and have very comfortable beds, great for tired golfers with lots of luggage!

Apex City Quay Hotel

Malmaison Hotel
