Even though Kingsbarns Links is only from the year 2000 golf has been played in the locations since the 1800’s. During the war years the military took over the whole area as it was felt that Kingsbarns beach was an invasion risk. The American golf architect Kyle Phillips studied several different links courses, including Royal Dornoch, before he decided how he wanted Kingsbarns to look. A relatively unique aspect of Kingsbarns is that you can see the sea from every hole. This is a course that is only getting better and better!
