Royal Dornoch
Royal Dornoch is one of the best courses in the world, the northernmost of the Royal courses but our clear favorite!
About Royal Dornoch
Royal Dornoch is simply put, one of the best courses in the world. Golf has been played here since around 1650 but it was when Old Tom Morris changed it to an 18 hole course in 1889 that golfers started to flock here.
A traditional seaside course with 9 out and 9 back, many of the greens are on plateaus which makes the approach difficult. Several of the holes have some tricky blind shots, we recommend you invest in a course guide, or even better, a caddie. Royal Dornoch is not the easiest course to get to, but well worth the effort!
