Castle Stuart is a relatively new course. It is Mark Parsinen, who founded Kingsbarns Links and then went looking for a piece of land to create another masterpiece, that is behind Castle Stuart. It opened in 2009 to great reviews and has the last ten years climbed every leader board of top golf courses, in 2018 it was ranked as the 50^th best course in the world.
