The most Westerly golf course in Europe where the holes still have Gaelic names!
Dingle Colf Club, the most westerly golf course in Europe, isn’t the easiest to find but we think that it really is worth the journey!
This gem has been climbing the Top 100 list of Irish Golf Courses as more and more golfers discover its rugged charm and spectacular views. It has a straightforward routing and design, with a burn winding its way through the course and plenty of bunkers.
At first glance it might look a tad dull, but once you’re on the golf course you see that there is a lot more mounds and slopes than expected, and as it’s so close to the Atlantic the wind can be ferocious, even on a nice day! Fun fact: Gaelic is still spoken here and all the holes have Gaelic names.
