Royal Cinque Port is one of the most difficult courses in the UK! Keep an open mind and don’t get too wrapped up in your score.
Royal Cinque Port was nearly completely destroyed during the two World Wars, but with perseverance it was restored and reopened in 1946.
This is a very difficult course, there’s just no sugar coating it, but if you play it with an open mind and not looking to score well, as the fairly brutal back 9 usually brings a fair amount of bogeys, this is a course golfers return to time and time again.
With several small greens that are guarded by some very steep bunkers your short game needs to be at its best here! Recent upgrades to the course include a new irrigation system, some new bunkers, and a new short game practice area.
